Birth Doula 

Birthing your baby is the biggest moment of your life. It is the day you give birth to your motherhood. You should feel loved and supported on this special and important day. Whether you are planning a natural birth, a cesarean birth, a hypnotic birth or something in between a doula can help you have a better birth experience. All with you in full control.

Doula service includes:

• Complimentary visit and interview to determine compatibility

• 2-3 prenatal visits

• Assistance with making a personalized birth plan

• Support throughout pregnancy, labor and 6 weeks postpartum

• On call time starting 2 weeks before your due date

• Continuous support during labor

• Documentary Style Birth Photography ($1500 session fee waived)

• Up to 3 postpartum visits lasting 1 hour

Aromatherapy for Birth

Having a Registered Aromatherapist who has professional knowledge and education in how to use essential oils safely and effectively during your birth can be invaluable.  For those that choose to have this add on service, we will use aromatherapy in our prenatal visits as well as during labor. Aromatherapy during labor can be beneficial in aiding the calm, peaceful, gentle atmosphere we create. Nurses and doctors frequently comment on how "its like a spa in here" and how they just want to stay in our room all day!

• Custom blends designed specifically for you

• Use of high quality and exotic oils including Rose, Neroli, Jasmine essential oils

• Blends for nausea, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, etc.

Hypnotic Birthing Coached Sessions

Whether you are using HypnoBirthing or Hypnobabies for your upcoming birth you may want extra support after your classes have ended. Perhaps you have unanswered questions or forgot some of what you learned. During these visits we will review what techniques you like best for your hypnotic birth. 

• Learn to go deeper faster in to relaxation

• 2 two hour visits

• Practice anchors and deepening techniques that you have learned

• Simulate calm gentle labor breathing based on your program

• Client led coached sessions based on YOUR needs

Newborn Care Specialist

As a Newborn Care Specialist we offer newborn care and newborn education during the first few days and weeks of life. Newborn Care Specialist services typically start once the baby has arrived home from the hospital. The NCS is an expert in care of the newborn baby,  she assists with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, creating a schedule for the baby as well as teaching good sleep hygiene as a segway into sleep training. The NCS may be contracted for as little as 2 weeks or as many as 12 weeks depending on availability. We tend to be booked early, sometimes even during moms first trimester. If you think you want 12 weeks of NCS care, please book us early.

Night Care for newborns

This service is provided for newborns at night from 0 to 12 weeks old. Night care allows new moms and dads time to rest and recover at night. This is a great service to all parents upon the arrival of their baby. It is especially helpful for first time parents. Mothers experiencing postpartum depression will also benefit from having this service. If you are sleep deprived and need respite we can help, whether it is one night or for a few weeks. Night care is provided in 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts from 6pm to 6am. 8 hour nights begin at 10 pm and finish at 6 am. 

Postpartum doula Service

Mothering the mother so she can heal from childbirth, bond and care for her newborn is the primary goal of postpartum doulaing.  Typically this service is offered during the day in 4-6 hour increments during the day. This services is best utilized during the first few days and weeks following childbirth. If a mom is having problems with breastfeeding  we assist and help resolve basic breastfeeding issues. Don't forget dads! We can also teach and help dad with adjusting to his new role as a father, changing diapers, bottle feeding etc.

In Home Consultations & Education

An in home consultation or education visit will help. An in home assessment of the problem you are having will be done based on the concerns you submit. Support, education, recommendations and a plan will be provided. We are here to help and guide you each step of the way. This service is helpful for first time parents. 

Nurtured Newborns provides all services to multiples, preemies and medically fragile newborns as well as healthy singletons.
